Piranhas Trying to Make up Lost Time with Swim Meet Around the Corner
The Provost Piranhas Swim Club is excited to be back in the water for a new swim season in a beautiful new pool. The team has 46 swimmers this year and three coaches.

Head coach is Rebecca Allen, assisted by Emma Allen and Deon Erasmus and they’re very happy to be coaching swimmers in the water after weeks of very creative dryland training. The club had been unable to get into the new pool at Crescent Point Place due to construction delays.

Town of Provost employees and lifeguards worked hard to get the pool ready, and have allowed the Piranhas extra practice times as the club was not able to get into the pool until last week.

The Piranhas’ first swim meet of the season will be in Provost on Saturday, June 26 which will give local residents an opportunity to come check out the club in action as well as see the new facility being put to use.
