Pardon Me,

 |
A sign of the changing seasons, non-stop honking can be heard as thousands of geese along with a few mallard ducks (at least one can be seen in this photo) take to the skies after resting in a body of water before migrating south for the winter. A large group of geese is called a gaggle. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the goose is one of the most intelligent birds with a good memory and doesn’t forget people, animals or situations which makes it a good ‘watch animal’ against intruders. ©Provost News Photo. |
