A person’s footwear is shown next to the size of a cougar print at right. Two people made reports to the Town of Provost bylaw officer that tracks were spotted in Provost. The mountain lion is the largest wild cat of North America and from nose to tip of the tail, can reach up to 10 feet long. Story in The Provost News dated January 17, 2024. Photo submitted.
