Here are just some of the thousands of solar panels being installed at the construction site of the Killarney Lake Solar Project. Spearheaded by Montana First Nation (about 90 kilometers south of Edmonton), it says this is set to become one of the largest solar energy parks in the region. This photo was taken about 15 miles north of Provost and west along Township Road 420. The project is to deliver 22 megawatts of power, the equivalent of energizing up to 5,550 homes annually.
