Making Progress

Farmers Allan Manning (top) and Kevin Whitehead (on the ground) were up to their elbows as they worked on this no-till air seeder while out on the land 14 kilometres west and 3.5 kilometres south of Amisk before they could fire up more of their equipment in earnest. Manning said that soil conditions this spring were excellent with good moisture. The pair were making progress repairing a hose before canola was planted this month, May 2013. ©Provost News Photo.
