This girls team from Marwayne, Alberta, (in gold uniforms), were on the attack in the Edmonton end during Girls "A" Provincial Basketball Championships held in Provost, March 15, 16, and 17. The team in blue—Edmonton, went down to defeat in this game by a score of 38-49 in the St. Thomas Aquinas gym. Opening ceremonies took place at the Provost Recreation and Culture Centre on the 15th.
