Foggy Outlook on Rail Delivery
Fog settles over the railway tracks at the southwest corner of Provost. A strike could take place across the nation as early as Thursday, August 22 for Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway and Canadian National Railway, two major operators. Darrell Huber, manager for Provost Richardson Pioneer told The News that even though the strike hasn’t even begun, it’s already creating turmoil in the logistics world. “We were supposed to have a grain train this week but it’s undetermined. I won’t know til Thursday morning.” See story in The Provost News dated August 21, 2024. ©Provost News Photo. |
