Chair Lift is “Pretty Good” Says Provost Man
|
Provost man Len Ward (right) tests out a new chair lift in what was about a 15 second ride. “That’s pretty good,” he told The News afterwards. “My wife will like that.” He’s pictured with clinic staff Wendy Ganser. Antoinette Erasmus for the clinic adds that the ramp “is a long way (for people), especially in winter . . .” She reached out to a local group for help after hearing some complaints from older patients that it’s too long. The Provost & District Health Services Foundation bought and donated the $29,800 equipment which has been operational since spring.
