Provost Senior Citizens’ Centre Celebrates 50 Years

Half a century of activity was marked for the Provost Senior Citizen’s Drop-in Centre on Friday afternoon, September 29. The public was invited to take in socializing, beverages and snacks. Louise Schug (right, front) told The News that her dad Alois Mareck was the first president. The organization meets regularly to play cards, has a shuffle board; and downstairs are two pool tables.
