Entertainment During Weekend Activities
|
Shown is just some of the entertainment that people were able to take in at Provost on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Here are one of the mud races at the Provost Kinsmen Splash N Smash as competitors aim for fast times around the course. Club president Mark Krevenky told The News that “Everything went really good” and extra runs on the The Canadian Mud Racer’s Organization track for “a lot of the big guys” extended Saturday’s show “which was great, because we had a great crowd.” Sunday’s schedule was altered and “we ran as much as we could before the rain was coming . . . we couldn’t run our freestyle guys (motocross) Sunday because the mud and the rain.” An estimated 2,000 spectators took in the action over the three days with close to 100 competitors.
