A Laughing Matter

In a hilarious stand-up comedy act, Brent Butt (star of TV series Corner Gas) of Vancouver, B.C. is on stage delighting and entertaining a crowd (see photo in The Provost News dated August 16, 2023) at the Amisk Library’s 100th anniversary on Saturday evening, August 12 in Amisk. The comedian covered a range of topics — and plenty of laughter was heard throughout the hour at the Community Hall parking lot. About 475 people took in the show. This was just one of many festivities held throughout the day organized by the Village of Amisk and the Amisk Library. See story in paper dated August 16, 2023. ©Provost News Photo. |
