Karlin Rennie swings her tractor around pulling an air drill and tank filled with peas and fertilizer. The operator of this heavy equipment is shown working on planting 550 acres one or two kilometres straight south of the Rennie farmyard. The peas, when harvested are expected to be sold to overseas markets for consumption. The pictures were taken 6.4 kilometres west of the Alberta-Saskatchewan border and 3.1 kilometres north of Highway 13 beside Range Road 14 on May 13. ©Provost News Photo. |
