Energy Company Proposes Battery Storage Projects in M.D. Provost

An energy company is proposing construction of three new battery storage projects in the M.D. of Provost No. 52. TERIC Power Ltd. out of Calgary proposes two facilities to be constructed near Hardisty and a third project by Hughenden. Each facility would consist of a 20 Megawatt (MW) capacity lithium-ion battery storage system.
