Bible School Theme is ‘Our God is an Awesome God’

Pastor Paul McCormick (right) teaches during vacation Bible school at Central Lutheran Church in Provost. He told The News via phone afterwards that for each day (August 15 - 19) 73 - 79 children attended; and in total had 93 children participate in at least one day. The theme was ‘our God is an awesome God.’ It was called “Monumental” which had a southwest U.S. desert theme. Asked how the program went, he says “Good . . . we didn’t break any records but in the fact that we’re still getting back to normal from the pandemic we were pretty pleased with the turnout that we got.” About 25 volunteers helped out.
