Grade 11 St. Thomas Aquinas volleyball player Brigitte Bouma No. 15 hits the ball past an Alix, Alta. player to gain another point for STA during Central Alberta Schools Athletic Association zone playoffs on Saturday, November 16. Action began Friday at noon and ended later on Saturday with eight teams competing in two pools. This shows some of the action at STA School gym on Saturday morning. The top two teams, Bawlf and Lacombe from this zone playoff action will advance to provincial finals in Bow Island, Alta. this weekend. Bawlf beat Lacombe in the gold final and Daysland beat Bashaw to earn bronze. A team from Provost Public School was among the other competitors. ©Provost News Photo.
