A large truck slows down as it reaches its destination nine kilometres east of Provost and 15 kilometres north on Range Road 14 on August 28. The delivery is part of three tower components that will be stacked on top of each other to build one of the 17 wind turbines that will spin to generate electricity. One of these three tower components weighs an estimated 95,000 pounds (nearly 48 tons) according to a truck driver who hauled it from a railway depot near Lethbridge. Approximately $80 million is being spent by BluEarth Renewables Inc. of Calgary on the Bull Creek wind farm which is to be generating power by the end of this year.
