The last of 17 wind turbines was erected for the Bull Creek wind project on October 28. This picture taken at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28 shows some final work after the nacelle and rotor including blades were hoisted into position. The first turbine for the BluEarth Renewables of Calgary project was put up on Wednesday, September 9 (see PN Sept. 16, 2015). This last turbine is located approximately a half miles west of the Alberta-Saskatchewan border on the Dave Levitt land. Final electrical connection of the turbines to the distribution system continues to take place with power generation scheduled by the end of December, 2015. Another picture in the print edition shows two men inside the tower as a massive piece is lowered towards them for bolting into place. ©Provost News Photo.
