Liquid dirt is propelled into the air as this driver floors his race car at the Kinsmen Club’s Splash ’n Smash which was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the fairgrounds. Other photo shows moments later shows where some of the mud suddenly wound up as people near the track seemed to appreciate the close encounter—but also picked mud out of their hair, cell phones, cameras and clothing.
