Players from two local teams jostle for rebound position as guard Jim Schon of Provost gets the basketball up—and cleanly through the net during men’s play at an annual tournament held in Provost over the Family Day weekend. Gyms at both Provost Public School and St. Thomas Aquinas were used for players coming from various communities. There were 11 men’s teams competing. A team from Edmonton called “Doom Crew” lost to last year’s champions “The Bricks” from Lloydminster in the A final game by a score of 87-73. ©Provost News Photo.
