Pony Power
|
The wild pony seems to be winning this particular event as three young competitors have their hands full trying to catch up with it—but were dragged along for a different kind of ride. The action was held at this year’s Cadogan Stampede which was held on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2. The girls and boys who competed in Mel Lawes’s event are given up to 18 seconds for one of them to get on and ride the animal. When this picture was taken, cowboy Jack Rennie was in charge of the event. ©Provost News Photo.
