Over the past few months we have won, lost, and tied as a team. I have compiled these facts and questions to sum up what I have been saying throughout the season.
The team scored over 350 goals on the opposition while only receiving just over 200 goals in our net.
We went farther than we had expected in Zone playoff competition, making it to the third round and giving Forestburg/Daysland what they said was their hardest round so far. You can’t really say the same for the league playoffs, getting beat out in the second round to Chauvin/Edgerton after being seeded number one in our division, and third in our league.
I have compiled this information on my own and if all goes well I will continue on next year with View From The Ice.
I took a bit of time and recently interviewed my teammates about the season that we have just wrapped up, asking them several questions:

Our season was not quite over. The team met at a local restaurant to have a little social gathering and to hand out some awards.
These awards did not have anything to do with the awards given out the following Wednesday.
Jim (Jimbo) Ganser and Doug (Tubby) Stuckky presented trophies to each member of the team and said a little bit about how the player maybe didn’t achieve all their goals but helped to attain the team’s overall objectives.
The team presented a few gifts to the management at this meeting for their time and help over the season.
The next night at the Minor Hockey supper the team met together for one last time this season.
Three awards were given out including Most Dedicated which went to McMann; Most Improved was goalie Stahl; and Rehman for Most Sportsmanlike.
All throughout the year we have had fun times and not so fun times, but I still hope to enjoy another season with you all next year at the Bantam level..
