The 2014 ATCO Photographic Awards were announced in Edmonton on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association (AWNA) annual symposium.

Jill Sherring’s photo of a Battle River Rams football player (freshly tackled by a Provost Panthers player) and with a face full of grass, entitled Turf Wars earned third place in the Sports action category. The picture was featured on the Provost News front page of the October 15, 2014 edition.
