Photo Award Honourable Mention
This Provost News photo received an honourable mention at the ATCO Photographic Awards competition held at the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association (AWNA) photo contest. It was a photo of a helicopter pulling an electronic boom getting ready to search for signs of potash in the Provost area. Potash has since been found by a Vancouver mining company south east of town (see PN Feb. 22, 2012) The competition was judged by SAIT. ©Provost News Photo.
